About Us

SweetMe Confections is founded on love and happiness.  As young girls it was a tradition that our mother would always make “hard candy” around the holidays for everyone to enjoy.  And enjoy it we did!  Fast forward a life time and the roles are now reversed.  Mom, who today is 96 years young, enjoys sweet treats so much that her daughter started making the candy for her on a regular basis.  Studies have shown that aging affects the taste buds and the elderly crave the taste for sweets.  Thus, the idea of a business came to light.  Who would foresee all those years ago our Mom was teaching a skill that we would be able to use to create happiness for everyone.  So, we like to say that SweetMe Confections are the treats that make you smile!  It works for Mom.
